I experienced this same kind of thing in therapy. The enemy wants us to feel alone and isolated in our struggle. The truth is, we’re not, and there is so much power in that. Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable with us, Rebecca.

I love that explanation for when therapy is needed.

The visual image/description that's stuck with me from my psychologist is the idea of our "bad"/tricky feelings being like a pool noodle that we try to hold under the water - eventually, we can't hold it down any longer and we get smacked in the face when it pops back up. That's why we need better strategies for what to do with them 😅
